True to the word that Malaysia had gained independence from the British colonization on 31st August 1957. Meaning that, the British, had given Malaysia back, her sovereignty. Independence of any nation means, the right of her government to decide on her destiny, socially and politically, and the right of her people to choose the government. Independence in the truest sense is just imaginary or utopia (a system of political or social perfection). Back to your question, are we ready to face the globalization, again here human factor comes into question. Malaysian, in its current state, it’s fair to say, most of them still facing immeasurably low mentality, like one famous local paradox says, “having first class facilities but with a third class mentality”. Sad to say, unless Malaysian strive to be excellence mentally (put aside first, economy and politic), then we can face the very competitive globalization. We’re in dire need of ‘mental revolution’, do it or face a certain downfall.

Personally, I’d rather like to free myself from mental bondage, then I’d be assured to face outside test and challenge. Ironically globalization has its own hidden agenda (read my posting titled “Are all Jews Zionist?” in Now Testament blog), a devilish conspiracy to control the world under one government. Nowadays the worldly matters has become more complex, but we still have a space for salvation i.e. strengthen ourselves spiritually.
